The Civil Pilot program leads to the academic degree of University Bachelor of Engineering in Aeronautics

Students enrolling in the Civil Pilot undergraduate program gain a comprehensive foundation in aeronautical engineering, flight operations, and modern aviation standards. Designed for small cohorts, the program combines academic study with extensive practical training delivered through approved aviation training organizations. Throughout their studies, students develop technical knowledge and operational competence essential for a professional pilot career in civilian aviation.

About The Program

The Civil Pilot Study Programme is focused on the education of future professional civil aviation pilots. During the undergraduate study programme, students acquire fundamental theoretical knowledge in the fields of aeronautics, aircraft systems, aerodynamics, navigation, meteorology, aviation regulations, and flight safety.

The programme includes a combination of theoretical instruction and practical training, with the aim of developing professional competencies required for the safe and efficient operation of aircraft in civil air traffic. Particular emphasis is placed on understanding operational procedures, the human factor in aviation, and the responsibility of pilots within the air traffic system.

This program prepares graduates for employment in the aviation industry while also enabling further academic progression at the master’s level. Upon completion, students obtain the professional title University Bachelor of Engineering in Aeronautics (univ. bacc. ing. aeronaut.), which aligns with European higher education standards.
